The Rodding Sonde is a versatile and powerful, self-contained waterproof transmitter designed for locating non-metallic pipes. Here are the key features:
Compatibility:
- The Sonde can be attached to various devices such as Flex Rods, Cobra Rods, or Drain Rods, and can be propelled inside non-metallic pipes.
Location Precision:
- When used correctly, it allows pinpointing the exact route of the pipe and locating blockages underground from above ground.
Frequency:
- The Sonde emits a strong radio signal at either 33kHz (Orange) or 8.192kHz (Green). The 33kHz frequency is the UK standard Sonde frequency for most applications.
End Fitting:
- Equipped with a Male M10 Thread with Nyloc threadlock for secure attachment.
